Incorporating self-care into your week in becoming less and less of an option and more of a necessity. With busy work weeks, hours of homework and responsibilities piling up at your footsteps, taking some time out of your day to show yourself love and care is essential. 3. Take A Nap
Whether it is for 30 minutes or 3 hours, resting your mind and body when you are feeling tired and slow is the key to getting your energy back up and getting through the day. Find your favorite place to curl up and get some shut-eye!
I just recently took up hammocking and I love everything about it! For me, it creates a space for me to be one with nature. I love putting it up to do some reading, to hang out with friends, or to relax and destress. It is so much fun and I definitely recommend getting one!
5. Express Gratitude
Every single day is a gift. Take some time to express gratitude even in the heavy seasons. I express gratitude daily and created a gratitude jar to put all of my notes of gratitude in and to hold as a reminder that even in the bad times, I still have so much to be thankful for!

It’s time to break out the face mask and nail polish! Create your own spa night for your specific beauty needs. Have fun and invite others to join in on the fun!
7. Go Out For Dessert
Spend the night out on the town feeding your sweet tooth! With so many cute ice cream shops, dessert bars, and restaurants, the options are endless!
I love putting pen to paper and journaling is a great way for me to do so. Grab a notebook or a piece of paper and let your words flow. The beauty about journaling is that it can be for your eyes only – take advantage of that!

Hit the hay early tonight. I am a busy college girl, so whenever I have nights that I have nothing planned, I simply go to bed early. This helps me to be sharp and alert for the days to come.
A good workout is one of my favorite ways to show myself self-care. Whether it is yoga, kickboxing, or going on a walk, working out is stress reducing and brings health and longevity to your life!
